IN BED

How do you prepare for tomorrow the night before?
I usually have a shower before bed. I love feeling invigorated and fresh and washing away the day’s efforts.

What do you wear to bed?
Usually underwear.

How do you dress your bed?
It’s pretty uncluttered. I love beautiful crisp linens and a couple of pillows drowned in perfume.

What is on your nightstand?
Perfume in ten different moods, water, my phone, and a piece of art by a friend.

Who do you sleep with?
Right now, I’m on my own. I kind of like it!

How many hours do you sleep?
Five to six hours, max.

What time do you wake up?
5.30am, usually.

What is the first thing you do on waking?
I jump out of bed. I’m not a snoozer except maybe in the winter when it’s dark or when there’s someone in my bed! I like to jump right into the shower, drink some water, coffee, maybe have a little fruit or piece of chocolate, brush my teeth and get straight to work.

BODY

How do you work out?
Very minimally, my body reacts crazily to minimal work out. I walk a lot and run sometimes. I am active at work and I’ve learned to incorporate workouts as I work. They’re minor things, but they do the trick for me.

How often do you exercise?
Probably three to four times a week, but for no more than ten minutes. It’s my little ‘switch out’ moment. My brain doesn’t work well when it’s switched off for too long.

How do you motivate yourself when you don’t feel like exercising?
I really have to talk myself into it. I treat it like a task that I’ve been putting off on my list of things to do.

What is your first drink of the day and why?
Water first as I get really dehydrated during sleep, and coffee because I love the taste and the aroma.

What is for breakfast and why?
I don’t have breakfast, because it slows me down and makes me feel unmotivated. I may snack during the day on nuts or a bit of water and maybe a piece of chocolate, but my body doesn’t work well with too much food. It has been that way since I was a kid!

FACE

What is your AM beauty routine?
I exfoliate and moisturise daily, usually at night as I don’t like irritating my skin during the day. I keep it simple and it’s about how you apply things to your face and body that matters.

What are your go-to beauty products?
I change it up because I think once your skin adjusts to the product it doesn’t have any effect! I mix it up with Sodashi moisturiser and jet lag mist. After a 15 -18 hour day, you need it! I also do a light Clarisonic scrub once every two weeks and I change up my night times with Rose Hip Oil and light moisturisers.

What makeup products do you prefer?
I try not to use make up. I love a little eyeliner, though! And sometimes a tinted moisturiser with SPF.

What is your standby routine for awakening a tired face?
A gentle scrub, a light face mask and ice-cold water. Plus, I wash my face during the day in cold water to keep it crisp and revived.

WORK

What is the first thing you do?
I write my list of tasks for the day. I love a good tidy-up too. It gives me a clear space and a focused mind and helps me balance creative things with business.

What is top of your to-do list?
Get through everything, stay motivated and build upon creating all the time.

What is your 10am pick-me-up for energy?
Usually at 11.30am, it’s another coffee!
