It isn’t always easy being green, but with a united vision fashion is making a difference.
Italy’s fashion elite and celebrities including Cate Blanchett, Julianne Moore, Colin Firth and WelleCo’s Elle Macpherson gathered at a green-carpet event on Sunday at Milan Fashion Week.
“No one industry can tackle climate change and the sustainability issue by itself,” said Blanchett, adding the fashion industry was influential enough to spearhead change.
With the aim to encourage greater environmental sustainability in the global fashion industry, 13 awards, including the Wellness award presented to Elle Macpherson, were awarded to industry leaders who have demonstrated commitment to and investment in change.
