Protein Snickers Slice.

INGREDIENTS

Base

8 weetbix, crushed

1/2 cup of almond meal

1/4 cup of WelleCo Nourishing Protein (Vanilla)

1/3 cup of coconut oil, melted

1/4 cup of maple syrup

Dash of oat milk

Middle

1/2 cup of peanut butter

1/4 cup of maple syrup

1 teaspoon vanilla essence

1 tablespoon coconut oil

Top

1 block dark chocolate, melted

 

METHOD

Mix base ingredients in a bowl and mix until sticky. Pour into lined loaf tin & press down evenly.

Make peanut butter layer by mixing ‘middle’ ingredients together and pop in microwave for 30-60 seconds to melt slightly. Pour over base layer and place in the freezer for 30 minutes.

Melt your chocolate in a microwave safe bowl. Pour over peanut butter layer. Place in freezer to set for 2 hours.

Cut up into bars and enjoy! Store in the freezer ongoing.
