Type O

Most suited to animal proteins and should avoiding or limit dairy products and grains.

Super foods

- Seafood & kelp – increased thyroid production due to the iodine

- Lean white meat & red Meats  – aids efficient metabolism

- Spinach, broccoli & kale  - aids efficient metabolism

Best fruit & veg

  • Figs, plums, prunes, apples, apricots, cherries, pears, grapes, lemons, peaches & papayas, broccoli, endive, garlic, leeks, onions, parsnips, pumpkin, spinach, sweet potato, turnips.

Foods to avoid

- Wheat gluten – slows metabolism by interfering with insulin production

- Sweet corn – same effect as gluten

- Kidney, navy beans & lentils – impair calorie utilization

- Cabbage, brussel sprouts & cauliflower – impair calorie utilization

 

Type A

On the other hand are most suited to a vegetarian diet and fresh, organic foods.

- Vegetables & vegetable oils – aid efficient digestion & prevent fluid retention

- Fish & seafood– aids efficient metabolism

- Pineapple – increases intestinal mobility & increases calorie utilization

Best fruit & veg

Apricots, apples, cherries, figs, grapefruit, lemons, pineapple, plums & prunes, alfalfa, artichokes, broccoli, beetroot, cos lettuce, endive, garlic, onions, parsley, pumpkins, spinach, tofu and turnips.

Foods to avoid

- Red Meat – poorly digested and stored as fat (chicken & turkey are neutral)

- Dairy Foods/cow’s milk – provokes an insulin reaction. Avoid cow’s milk.

- Kidney & Lima beans – provoke an insulin reaction & slow metabolic weight

- Wheat – makes muscle tissue acidic and impairs calorie utilization

Type B

Have a strong immune system, and tolerant digestive system, so they can eat most foods.

- Green vegetables – increases metabolism

- Lean organic red meat, fish & seafood– increases metabolism

- Eggs – increases metabolism

- Liquorice tea – levels out sugar levels

Best fruit & veg

Apples, apricots, bananas, cranberries, grapes, papaya, pineapple, plums, peaches, pears, prunes, strawberries, watermelon, aubergines, beetroots, broad beans, brussel sprouts, cabbage, carrots, cauliflower, kale, mushrooms, parsley, parsnips, peppers, sweet potatoes, yams.

- Sweetcorn – slows metabolism

- Peanuts – slows metabolism

- Sesame seeds – slows metabolism

- Buckwheat – inhibits digestion & slows metabolism

- Wheat – slows metabolism & increases food stored as fat

 

Type AB

Best suited to a combination of A and B.
