Consider the reason you are working out.

Usually we say, “I ate too much this weekend, I have to go for a run”, or “I haven’t worked out in a week, so I have to go take a class.”

But what if we change the conversation so we didn’t have to do anything?

Lately, I have made myself come up with one other reason I am working out aside from physical appearance. Like, “I want to work out because I had a busy weekend and I need some me-time”, or “I want to take a class because I have a big meeting this week and I want to feel strong and centered.”

Once I change my reason, my motivation skyrockets.
